1. What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, WhatsApp number and password (stored only as a one-way hash, never in readable form).
- Billing details — your plan, payment amounts and dates, the Razorpay payment reference, and, if you give them, your state and GSTIN for the GST invoice. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay; we never receive them.
- Your hosted content — the files, databases and domains you put on Dhruva Cloud.
- Technical logs — IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, in our server and your site’s access logs, and a record of actions on your account (for example logins, payments and AI runs) for security and billing.
- Support conversations — messages you send us by WhatsApp, email or the chat on this site.
2. What we use it for
- to run your hosting, your domains and your account;
- to take payments and issue GST invoices, and to keep the records tax law requires;
- to send service messages — renewal reminders, invoices, security notices and support replies — by email or WhatsApp;
- to tell you about new Dhruva Cloud features, at most occasionally; you can ask us to stop at any time;
- to detect abuse, keep the service secure and fix problems.
3. Who we share it with
Only with the services we need to run Dhruva Cloud, and only what each one needs:
- Razorpay — to process payments.
- Cloudflare — DNS, SSL and the network your websites are served through.
- Our email provider — to deliver emails to you.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — when we message you or you message us there.
- AI providers — when you use the AI website builder, Palians Quantum or the support chat, your instructions and the parts of your site needed for the task are sent to the AI model doing the work: Google (Gemini) and Groq for the free Standard quality and the support chat, Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI for Pro and Max. Nothing is sent to them unless you start one of these features.
- Government authorities — only when Indian law requires it.
4. Where it is stored
Your account data, files and databases are stored on our servers in India. Services listed above may process the data they receive in other countries.
5. How long we keep it
- Account details — while your account exists.
- Hosted files and databases — while your plan is active, and for at least 30 days after it expires (see the terms), unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Payment and invoice records — for as long as GST and tax law require, even after the account is closed.
- Server logs — for a limited period, then they are rotated out.
6. Cookies
We use one essential cookie, hv_session, which keeps you signed in. It is not used for tracking or advertising. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on dhruvacloud.com.
7. Security
All traffic is encrypted with SSL. Passwords are hashed, each customer’s files and databases are separated from everyone else’s, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent to optional messages. Deleting your account removes your sites and data; payment records we are legally required to keep are retained. Write to us using the contact details below and we will reply within 30 days.
9. Children
Dhruva Cloud is not meant for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or WhatsApp. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
