Pricing questions
How much does Dhruva Cloud hosting cost?
The Lite plan is free for your first two months and $1.99/month after that — one website with 500 MB of storage, for static sites. Plans with PHP and MySQL start at $2.99 per month for Starter, which gives you 10 GB of NVMe storage, one website and a database. Paying yearly gives you one month free. Higher Standard plans add more storage and sites, and the Plus range adds dedicated RAM and vCPU for heavier applications. Customers in India pay in rupees; customers everywhere else pay in US dollars from our international price list.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Lite plan gives you two months free, then costs $1.99/month. You get one website with 500 MB of storage on your own domain, with the same automatic SSL, Cloudflare CDN and DDoS protection as every other plan. It is for static sites — plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript — so there is no PHP and no MySQL. Nothing is charged during the trial, and if you decide not to continue you simply do not renew. If you later need WordPress or a database, move up to Starter at $2.99/month without changing hosts.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, and it is the normal way to use Dhruva Cloud. You point your domain's nameservers at Cloudflare from your registrar, and Dhruva Cloud creates the zone, the DNS records and the routing for you. You can bring a domain from GoDaddy, Namecheap, BigRock or anywhere else.
Do I get free SSL?
Yes. A Universal SSL certificate is issued and renewed automatically through Cloudflare on every plan, including Starter. There is nothing to install and no renewal to remember.
Can I host WordPress on Dhruva Cloud?
Yes. PHP and MySQL are available on every paid plan, so WordPress, Laravel and other PHP applications run normally. Upload your files through the File Manager or a ZIP, create a database, and run the installer.
Is there a cPanel?
Not cPanel itself, but the Dhruva Cloud dashboard covers the same ground: a File Manager with upload, edit, zip, unzip, copy, move and delete, MySQL databases with phpMyAdmin, subdomains, logs, and a web terminal. If you are used to cPanel you will not be looking for anything that is missing.
Do you provide email hosting?
No. Dhruva Cloud hosts websites, not mailboxes. This matters if you are moving a domain to us: pointing your nameservers at Cloudflare will stop existing email unless the MX and SPF records are recreated, so note them down before you switch and we will help you add them back.
How fast can I get my site online?
The hosting side is ready in minutes — create the site, upload your files and it is served. The part that takes longer is DNS: nameserver changes at your registrar typically take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours to propagate, and that is outside anyone's control.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Yes. Plans are month to month and you can move up or down between them. Your files and databases stay where they are; only the quotas and resource limits change.
What happens if I go over my storage quota?
Uploads and extractions are refused before they write anything, with a message telling you which limit you hit. Nothing is deleted and your site keeps serving — you just cannot add more until you free space or move up a plan.
Where are the servers located?
The origin is in India and every request is served through Cloudflare's global edge network, so visitors are answered from the POP nearest to them rather than from the origin directly.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If you are not happy, ask within 7 days of your first payment and we refund it in full; duplicate or failed payments are always refunded. Plans never renew on their own, so you are never charged for a period you did not choose. The full rules are on the cancellation and refund policy page.
